Résumé

To provide multiple services in access network, 2 Dimensional (2D) Optical Code Division Multiple Access (OCDMA) is a possible solution which is studied in this paper. A 2D multi-weight coding scheme using a parallel mapping technique is developed, and allows Quality of Service (QoS) and data rate differentiation. To significantly enhance the performance, an efficient Forward Error Correction (FEC) based on Low Density Parity Check (LPDC) codes is adapted for the 2D multimedia OCDMA system. The proposed network permits providing multimedia services to a high number of users, with different QoS.
