Sub 100-fs Pulse Compression in a Hollow-Core Photonic Crystal Fiber (HC-PCF)

Résumé

We spectrally broaden 860 fs pulses from a 5.1-W, 3.9-MHz thin-disk laser in a 3.15 m long Xe-filled HC-PCF. After compression, we achieve 3.1-W in sub100-fs pulses at a peak power exceeding 5 MW.
