Influence de la géométrie des échantillons au cours de l'oxydation du titane.
Résumé
Oxidation kinetic of titanium wires has been studied in water vapor atmosphere (H2/H2O mixtures of variable composition) between 750 and 1010°C and compared with data obtained in the same conditions from plane specimen. This allowed on the one hand to get discrimination among the interfacial reactions which participate, with diffusion, to the rate regulation, and on the other hand to determine the influence of the growing stress induced by cylindrical symmetry on oxidation progress.
