Résumé
The influence of the sample geometry on the FeCrAl oxidation was examined morphologiclly and kinetically in oxygen atmosphere or oxygen/water vapor mixtures.
It is shown that the cylindrical symmetry of the sample involves a slowing down of the reaction rate, especially at low temperatures , while a better adherence of the growing oxide is observed.
