Généralités sur les antiseptiques
Résumé
General points about antiseptics. Antisepsis is aimed at either eliminating the germs introduced by an infectious agent, or avoiding superinfection of the wound, particularly by the germs in the resident or transient cutaneous flora. Indeed, healthy epidermis harbours significant quantities of micro-organisms for which any lesion may offer an entry point. Antiseptic action is restricted to reducing this flora, which recovers quickly.
